Psychologist / Neuropsychologist
Are you a psychologist or neuropsychologist and a member of the OPQ, with an interest in brain assessment and training? We would like to offer you a part-time or full-time position at one of our clinics (Saint-Hubert, Montreal, West Island, Laval, Terrebonne, Quebec City, Lévis, Gatineau, Sherbrooke). Positions are available at each clinic.
At Neuroperforma, our mission is to use neurotechnologies to improve the quality of life of our clients. With our 10 clinics, we are the largest provider of neurofeedback services in Canada. Known for our expertise in the field and our rigorous scientific approach, we train our psychologists/neuropsychologists to use brain training to contribute to clients' well-being.
You will work alongside 12 other psychologists/neuropsychologists. You will receive training in the latest quantitative electroencephalography (qEEG) and 19-electrode neurofeedback technologies. You will learn to recognize brain activity related to various conditions such as anxiety, major depression, attention disorders, sleep issues, and more. You will then learn how to effectively use neurofeedback to train the brain and improve clients' conditions. At the end of your training, Neuroperforma will assist you in obtaining your official neurofeedback certification.
To apply for this position, you must
- Hold a master's or doctoral degree in psychology
- Be a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec
Your main responsibilities will include
- Conducting clinical interviews with clients
- Analyzing and interpreting qEEG results
- Developing training protocols tailored to each client
- Writing evaluation reports in collaboration with the medical electrophysiologist
- Presenting results to clients
- Supervising neurofeedback training programs conducted by other team members
- Following up on clients' progress
Benefits offered
- Positions are available for 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week
- The salary for a full-time position ranges from $112,000 to $135,000 depending on the desired workload
- Schedules are flexible and adapted to your preferences
- We are open to remote work
- Official neurofeedback training and mentorship needed for accreditation are provided free of charge (worth over $8,000)
- You will be paid during training hours
